Getting Leather Right

Jessie Willner, a young visual artist in Los Angeles, is entering the fashion game. This week, Ms. Willner is introducing the Mighty Company, a direct-to-consumer line of mostly leather outerwear. She is starting with four jackets: a bomber, a biker, a fringe style and a metallic tweed and leather combination, all made in partnership with the storied French textile mill Malhia Kent. More styles will be added to the site monthly. “I want to focus on one thing and doing it right,” Ms. Willner said.
